Box of....

My latest shopping came with the mail today, it's nothing extra special in it, I'm sort of shopping without a plan latley, but then again that's probably more often then not the case.

A lot of new accessories, spot a pair of my dream shoes in the back, the Jeasus Diamante pumps with gigantic ribbons are finaly mine! Also really exited for a couple of new candy border socks, I haven't bought any in a while but they're always soooo cute, makes me want to eat my legs.Tiny mini skirts!

I can't wait for it to get a bit warmer, I love the look of short jackets over a tight fitting outfit, but as I tried the blue one out today my belly was freezing. The Napoleon jacket is truly gorgeous but I was so sure it was black but in reality it's more a dark brown, I guess that's the downside of online shopping...

Latest pickup

This week has been crammed full of packages, I guess it's all my tax refund shopping that's been rolling in with the mailman...
The Topshop trench coat I recently blogged about and I also got the Angelic Pretty Dream sky skirt. I see a lot of people obsessing over this print but I haven't been that excited but a girl on Gothloli was selling it so I decided to pick it up anyway. I'm not that in to fairy kei but this really reminds me of shows I watched as a kid for some reason, like Sailor Moon, My little pony and Lady Lovelilocks. The model of the skirt is also really cute!

The coat is maybe a little bit darker then I originaly planned on getting but the shape is so beautiful and the quality is great. The fit is a bit tight, so I guess I need to go easy on that American candy!
I'm really happy anyway, I saw this one snap in Popteen and I just fell in love with the outfit! Looking forward to putting something similar together.

Mermaid dreams

I've slowly fallen in love with this dress, it's pretty but it's also so... Prom-y? Not really what I usualy like so I don't know where this fantasy came from but all of the sudden I want to be the little mermaid for a night and go dancing on a moonlit bridge in this dress.

Maybe it's the colour? I'm loving turquoise and aqua green for this summer.

The piano has been shopping (not me)

Wow this last package was massive! I was thinking I might have to split it up but that's just too much of a hassle, I'll justthrow everything in at once.

Traded in my JSK of this series for the OP, I love the print but the shirring in the back of the JSK wasn't doing anything for me. I bought a set so I got the bow and the socks aswell.

One of my last dream dresses to cross of the list! I originaly wanted the darker gray one, the one that's the same tartan as my trenchcoat, but you can't be too picky with colour if you want it in nice condition. It's quite old and the print is the kind of plastic print wich easily cracks (I don't think any lolita brand prints like that anymore). I have the same issue with my final dream dress, Puppet Circus.

Wrapping ribbon, this print just screams MILK to me, not like that's a bad thing though. I got a tule MILK bow with little pink rhinestones on it to match, too cute!

I really want to love this print a lot more, it's so on point with my latest obsessions! Bright colours (especially blue and red together), biscuits and cutlery. It even has my permanent obsession of tea cups!

However I'm not in love. I looked over both the skirts and the dresses several times but they just feel sort of bland, I wonder if I've become so alergic to cotton lace that it's ruining the dress for me! A while back I decided that I'll only have dresses with frill or tule lace trimmings because I feel better in them, cotton lace is cute but I think it's a really young look and I'm starting to think it doesn't really suit me anymore.
The accessory line migh be more right for me this time I suppose, I wouldn't mind the adoreble jewlery and those socks are to die for!

A mini shopping post

I think, in the story of my style life, the chapter of fall 2010 will be known as the Chocolate Era, or maybe, depending who the author is, the brown period but that doesn't sound quite as appealing.

In any case, here are my latest buys, sort of a mini tartan sack dress and the melty chocolate bar sling bag both by Angelic Pretty. I got the dress for the combination of colours in the tartan, baby pink and brown with a hint of blue it's like candy for the eyes.

I love the open, lace-up back! Lovley detail, I always like a beautiful back on dresses, it makes them more three-dimensional.

It also has back pockets on the butt with huge ribbons of course, so cute! And finaly, a little old V.S new with the chocolate bag, maybe this is common knowledge and I'm just a big doodoo head for not realising that the new shoulder strap style is acctually a lot smaller! I still love it though.

Cracking nuts

The new Angelic Pretty print is all the rage as per usual but I'm not too exited, I know I always change my mind but this time I feel pretty sure I won't be getting it. I, like everyone else, love the military inspiered velvet top part of the jsk(both military and furry boot stoppers seems to be style decending trends this fall) but since I don't care for the print I would rather see the top in combination with a striped velvet skirt part, like my ribbon ornament JSK, for a look inspiered by a circus ringleader. Now that's a dress you could sign me up for.

I was going back and forth on this one, at first I thought the only reason I liked it was because the mint coloured one reminded me of Emily temple cute's lovley gingerbread print, but looking at it now I acctually like all the colours except the black one and I like both the JSK and the little saloppet.

I'm so happy with theese, such lovley colour and detail, just look at the polka dotted lavender lining on the blue cardigan, cute! The macaron print is just so adoreble, I really like the colours, especially the shoulderstraps and the little ribbon, such a beautiful shade of café au lait.So happy to finaly have this, I was looking for this during my stay in Japan but I only found it my last week there and then of course I had no money to get it, don't you just hate it when that happens?I admit I got this one sort of as a substitute for the spoon and fork dress I ended up selling and I will say it's not as cute but it's still a lovley piece, the chiffong and tule detail along the bustline is just gorgeous.Last but not least, this was the biggest supprise, the fabric is so nice and thick! It's like some kind of corduroy so this dress will be perfect for autumn and winter. I decided to get the high waist version in the cream colourway and the small clip-on ribbon instead of the big Alice bow, I'm really happy with my choice, I think it will be perfect for a cute and chic coordinations.

First winter coats

Angelic Prettys short coats for this winter are so hilarious, the bow is so comicaly large it looks physicaly impossible. It's like something out of a manga!

It wasn't just the dresses that got a re-vamp with the new release of Melty Chocolate, the adoreble chocolate bar bag, my favourite, got the addition of a nice long shoulder strap. How practical!
Now I want it in every colour again, typical.
