Return of the Swedish Lolitaloppis!

The Lolita fleemarket is back, this year in Gothenburg!

 A couple of ouer sweet members from the lolitaforum has taken the initiative to arrange it again. I won't be able to make it there myself but I have made a good closet clean and plan to send a lot of goodies down with my dear friend Maria! If you are in the neighbourhood then don't forget to stop by and catch a bargin!

Chowing down on a Megaman cookie, I wasn't in lolita since I spilled my breakfast on my planned outfit, it felt kind of strange! I also think I probably won't wear that much lashes again anytime soon, my eyes looks almost too big.

First in line this year! Anastasia from Lund traveled to Stockholm with her boyfriend for the weekend. They had been waiting in line since 06:50 that morning and we didn't open untill 12:00! She says she's really cold but it looking forward to meeting some nice peopel and buying some yellow socks. Her boyfriend says he wasn't super happy with the early start but he wants to support his girlfriend, so sweet!

A gothic table, manned by Victoria and Teppo, I always love their extravagant outfits! They sew and customize a lot themselfs so their decadent ensembles are one of a kind and practically haute couture.Such lovley visitors! I know I always say this but the Swedish lolita comunity really makes me proud, so many beautiful and kind girls and boys with great style!Artist Ulrika Minami-Wärmling who famously does alot of Gothic lolita portraits stopped by with her son Dexter, both insanly cute!

Checking in

After a long day of work and traveling without sleep and food I can finaly check in to my hotel and rewind. When celebrating the holliday of last April & first of May the Swedes really loose it when it comes to their drinking (wich is saying something considering how much we drink on a regular basis), I won't be partying quite as hard! I'm looking forward to digging in on my pizza hut slize and going to bed early, I got a feeling I'll need my energy in the morning.

My post pony tail hair and a little outfit snap in the mirror, the union jack tie is an ebay find that I'm really pleased with.

The room is really nice for a budget single, it's small but got everything but a bathtub and the location is about as good as it gets, right outside the train station. Internet access and breakfast are included aswell.

Final call

I'm leaving after work today to go up to Stockholm to help out and of course sell on the now annual lolita fleemarket! I hope to see you all there, it's not to late to catch a train there yet!

I'm glad I managed to accomplice something that looks like my style of art with a digital medium, remember this is basicaly my second picture made in photostop! I always imagined I would hate it but now I think it's just an acquired taste. Maybe someday I'll swear by it.

I'm back from a hectic day at Tokystop, just as last year it was an overwhelming success! Thank you everybody who came and made the day great, sellers and visitors alike! I'm tiered and my body hurts but I sold everything but a bangle and a couple of shorts so I can breathe easy. I will be back with pictures and more details tomorrow night, once I'm back home, in bed, with a cup of hot cocoa.

Almost there

My frustration is not all the way gone but things seem to be going the right way anyway, pricetags and badges for the sellers are done and I'm all packed up and redy to go first thing tomorrow. I have an awfull lot of luggage but I hope I'll make it anyway. Tomorrow we'll be in the newspaper so don't miss it and don't forget to stop by on sunday!

Now if I could just find that battery for my camera...

Turning a frown...

Having some trouble with keeping my chin up latley, peopel seem to be fashinated by the volcano eruptions but to me it's just a griddy cloud raining on my parade. My brother is stuck in Korea on a buisness trip and my sister in law is stuck in Japan, and since the damn thing shows no sign of stopping it it likley it will cause trouble for the fleemarket next weekend aswell. I have alredy got word from sellers who are stuck and as it is now it seems like a highly likley possibility that Sara won't be able to take the plane down to Stockholm. With Maria up to her knees with moving and new work I'm now far more worried about ending up doing the whole weekend on my own, without a place to stay and hardly any money, than I ever was worrying about no customers showing up.
